Syllabus of Classes & How to Enter

To enter the festival, all you need to do is select a category from the syllabus in which you would like to play, download, print and fill out the entry form below and send it in!

Entries must be made on the official entry form which must reach the address specified by the closing date which is Friday 27th January 2012. Entry forms can be found above or on the syllabus leaflet. They may be photocopied if more than one copy is needed. Entrants may also contact the GibFYM for an entry form on info@gibfym.com

Entrants will be notified of the details of their class by Friday 2nd March 2012.

Once we have decided which categories to run and sorted out the timetable we will contact you to let you know exactly what time your class will be held. Your families and friends can come with you to support you.

Entrants may perform only once in each class unless they are playing on different instruments.

Remember, this is an opportunity to perform in front of a specialist adjudicator and an informal and sympathetic audience.

It is an opportunity to learn how to improve your own performance and for teachers and learners to extend their teaching and learning techniques.

We want you to enjoy taking part, feel stimulated and hopefully inspired by the experience of performing before a top music professional who will be the adjudicator for the festival.

We look forward to the support of all parents and music teachers to make this festival a success. The more children that participate in the festival, the more successful the festival will be and the more enjoyment the children will have from seeing other children performing.
